CHALLENGE:

The third largest public school in the country wanted to develop school principals in the area of leadership. They wanted an innovative, yet standardized program that they could send these professionals to. The challenge was to deliver leadership concepts to public school principals in a way that they could apply them in their school buildings and with the school community.

SOLUTION:
Our team of facilitators delivered a year long 7-Day Program that focused on key leadership competency areas; Leading Self, Leading Teams, and Delivering Results. Using a variety of learning methods from outdoor experiential learning, team projects, individual reflection, personality instruments and direct instruction we provided public school principals with tools that build on their current level of leadership skill. Additionally, each principal received executive coaching to help them apply what they learned and to support their leadership journey.

RESULT:

Since 2010 we have educated over 250 principals in 11 cohorts. Due to the success of this work we delivered a modified program to more than 5 cohorts of school superintendents.
